Episode 120: College Volleyball Weekly – PAC-12 Edition: UCLA WVB’s Mac & Zoe, 11-02-21

This week features the No. 13 UCLA Bruins’ Graduate OH, Mac May and Senior Libero Zoe Fleck as they discuss coming into the 2021 season, their early team outlook and coming out of COVID.

Mac and Zoe talk about some early bumps in the season and how the Bruins have grown and learned from those bumps going into last weekend’s battle with then-#22 Washington St. and then-#8 Washington. 

The ladies end by sharing their perspective on the state of the PAC-12 Conference and what teams could be vying for an NCAA Tournament berth.

Episode 119: College Volleyball Weekly – USC Head Coach Brad Keller, 10-28-21

Brad Keller comes on this week’s episode to briefly discuss coming onto the Trojan staff at the start of the pandemic and the challenges he faced as the new head coach of the storied USC program.

Brad then also discusses the team and where their development is at the midpoint of Pac-12 Conference play, some of his commendable performers on the team and what we should expect to see at the second half—along with some of the teams that could be vying for NCAA Tournament berths.

Episode 117: College Volleyball Weekly: Washington Husky Episode, 10/15/21

After a 2-month hiatus Rob decided to come back into the Podcast-o-sphere-- this time doing an episode on one of his digital projects involving the No. 10-ranked Washington Huskies. It just happens the Huskies went up against No. 13-ranked NW rival Oregon on 10/14/21 and it was a 5-set thriller. What better time than to put an episode out-- this time a D1 NCAA Women's Volleyball episode. 

 

In this episode are Head Coach Keegan Cook, DS/OH Shannon Crenshaw and Setter Ella May Powell. They share about their teams propensity to like the number "5." Keegan I'm sure would enjoy a different number, but I'm sure he's okay as long as his team wins matches!

 

Emily, Salima and Jenny are definitely "the source," but we're here just to grow exposure! Don't worry all. Rob will still be focusing on Men's D1-2 and Collegiate Beach when the time comes!

It's after the Olympics and we've got a College Volleyball Weekly, or "CVW Beach Edition Episode!" This week: UCLA Beach AVCA 2x All-American Lexy Denaburg!

Lexy sits down with Rob Espero for USAV Beach Olympic women's breakdown and thoughts on what we saw with former and current NCAA phenoms on the world's biggest stage in Tokyo. We then jump into an overview of her 2021 season with topics ranging from regular season to the championships at Gulf Shores. We then venture into what she's been doing since finals finished at UCLA.

Jordan briefly discusses the next 3 weeks as the Olympics quickly approach.
